Pressure Release Panel Ventilator

The Zefyr “Pressure Release Panel” is a modern pressure release system that meets the current standard for external walls and is intended for buildings with high risks of explosion, for example; in gas-fired power plants with electrical switchgears, serving pressure release in case of an electric arc disturbance. The magnetic clamps fitted to the rotatable fittings keep the pressure panel folds shut during nominal working conditions, with the automatic opening of the folds by increased pressure. 

Application
Increased pressure is able to escape through the rotating panels to the outside and thus defending the building from damages. These folds then automatically close after the release of damaging pressure. The standard “Pressure Release Panels” can be used for pressures between 50Pa and 1000Pa.The units are fully weather proof and designed to have a long maintenance-free life under the most arduous of conditions. As optional extras the ventilator can have acoustic treatment, dampers can be made operable (manual, electric or pneumatic), bird guard and insect mesh can be added.

Aesthetics
The ventilators are easy to install pre-fabricated, fully tested and available in multiple sized modules. Widths up to 1200mm. Heights up to 1200mm. The units are fully weather proof and designed to have a long maintenance-free life under the most arduous of conditions. The units can be installed as individual ventilators or positioned/joined next to each other in blocks of modules. Available in aluminium that can have a range of finishes applied to help maintain high quality aesthetics (mill finish, PPC, anodised aluminium).
