Zefyr’s floor Upstand Access Hatches are formed from Aluminium as standard and are designed to fit onto any preformed upstand and include a closed EPDM seal, which is fitted to the lid to avoind damage. Lid supports prevent exess compression to the seal.

As standard, Zefyr’s hinged, self-locking grid provides an extended handhold for safe ladder decent when in the open position. The grid also acts as a physical barrier to prevent accidental lid closure when open, or unortharised entry when closed. (Access Hatches with clear opening of less than 500mm square do not require safety grids due to the small aperture size).
