Zefyr offer two types of Operable Louvre:

VPL Operable Louvres

The Zefyr VPL (Vogue Pressed Louvre) is a full range of high specification louvres constructed from press formed sheet. The louvres are offered in aesthetically pleasing modular and continuous versions. Blade pitches are available at 60 and 125mm pitch and can be supplied in many materials and finishes.

To allow for most weather conditions single, double and triple pass are offered. A comprehensive range of ancillary products is available including operating gear, louvred doors, secondary steel work, acoustic modules and splitters. Perfomance is based on testing and installations over 80 years.

Thunderbird Louvre

The Zefyr Thunderbird Louvre is a high performance operated wall louvre. Its aerodynamically profiled extruded aluminium blades can be rotated to control airflow.

The blades are operated either manually, by electrical or pneumatic actuator, gas strut or spring cable and winch. The blades can be thermally or acoustically treated to suit requirements. The frame is constructed from aluminium extrusion / sheet.
