The Zefyr AERO – X solar shade system consists of fixed or operable extruded aluminium aerofoils spanning between vertical plate arms protruding from the building. It provides a striking appearance whilst offering maximum solar shading. For extra effect the blades can be operable via tailor made bracketry to suit individual installations. Driving mechanisms can be electrical or manual, whilst control systems include automatic electric with solar tracking or thermal sensors.

The blades, due to their shape are able to span up to 3000mm and have been structurally verified by qualified engineers. Blade sections are available with overall dimensions of 100, 165, 200 and 300mm. Multiple part blades can span up to 6000mm. The system is supplied to site in modular or site build format and can be provided in a wide range of finishes.
